Canadian Skilled Worker Program
The Skilled Worker Program is a points based system used to grant Permanent Resident status to applicants who are able to demonstrate an ability to become economically established in Canada. The point system is composed of six (6) factors, in which an applicant needs to score at least 67 points in order to be eligible.

The Most important factor in the Skilled Worker programme tend to be an applicant level of education, their previous work experience, their ability to communicate in either English or French and age.
In order for an application to be eligible for processing, an applicant must either:
- Have an offer of arranged employment (that is, a permanent offer of employment by a Canadian Employer in any job listed in NOC Code A,B, or O) OR
- Be a foreign national living legally in Canada for one year as a temporary foreign worker or an international student, OR
- Be a skilled worker who has at least one year of experience in one or more of the following occupations:

- University Professors
- College and other Vocational Instructors
- Chefs
- Cooks
- Contractors and Supervisors, Pipefitting Trades
- Contractors and Supervisors, Carpentry Trades

- Electricians (Except Industrial and Power System)
